Tuesday’s Trainer - Suspending Rides Through January due to COVID Spike

Pleasanton Senior Center

Jan is leading a Tuesday morning ride each week for 15 participants. It will be a bit longer and faster than our Thursday Social Ride. The route will change each week. Plan on 15 mph on the flats and 30-40 miles in length, approximately 1,000 feet of climbing.

There will be a short break along the way with regular regrouping as we go. Bring your water bottle, an extra inner tube or two and a willingness to push yourself a little further.

The ride will be limited to 15 riders. who have signed up for the ride in advance. Plan to leave promptly at 9:00 am. Start time may be adjusted based on weather conditions. Please be sure to bring your helmet, water and a spare tube. No SAG cars provided.

Since we have a large group, with many riders who like to go faster than the general guidelines, we will break up into two groups. The FAST group and the Moderate group. PP guidelines indicate that if someone is in front of the leader, you are no longer part of the ride. So the FAST group will be a SHOW and GO group. But we will still regroup as appropriate,

Cycling etiquette essential.
