FC Barcelona, founded in 1899, is one of the world's most renowned, valuable and followed sports organizations.
Raul Pelaez is Head of Sports Technology at FC Barcelona. He has a multidisciplinary background and extensive experience in diverse fields, including professional football, youth academy football, multimedia computing, performance analysis, electronic and mechanical industry, knowledge and information management.
He is specialist in knowledge management, integrating everything that relates to professional football, including scouting, youth, players and teams, as well as quantitative and qualitative football player analysis, GPS technology, heart-rate systems, video analysis and more.
Mounir Zok is Head of Technology and Innovation for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC / TeamUSA), where he identifies and develops technological solutions for analyze and improve athlete and sport performance. In addition to being a key contributor to the success of TeamUSA at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, he also serves as a liaison between the sport performance division, startups, sports and research organizations.
Akif Malik is CEO and Managing Partner for Sports Colab, an accelerator, fund and community at the intersection of sports, media and entertainment, which advises, invests and connects startups, sports organizations, teams, leagues, athletes, investors, mentors and experts across many areas that overlap with #sportstech.
