ProductTank provides an opportunity for product people in Belfast to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Design, Development and Management, Business Modelling, Metrics, User Experience and all the other things that get us excited. Events include talks from guest speakers on topics around product management, networking opportunities, and a good old-fashioned chin-wag over some pizza and a beer or two. We're open to companies big and small. We also welcome early-stage technology businesses looking to learn how to get their ideas off the ground. We also have a blog and encourage the community to get engaged by commenting on or writing new posts for http://www.mindtheproduct.com (http://www.mindtheproduct.com/)
In 2019, each quarter for ProductTank Belfast will follow a specific theme & preferably ones that we haven't addressed before. The theme of Q1 and the 1st ProductTank Belfast evening meet up is 'Tech For Good & Community'.
Firstly, Nuala Murphy (Founder of www.momenthealth.io) will talk about the 'why' of building her product, how she has arrived at a product first approach and the challenges of building a product in the health industry.
Secondly, we will have a diverse panel talking about their experiences (good & bad!) in building 'products for good' inc. Charlie Browne (Executive Product Manager at BBC), Ailís Mone (Co-founder of www.esther.org.uk), Stephen McPeake (CEO of www.reportall.org & Belfast CivicDollars).
Also, another innovation ...... the food on offer won't be pizza ..... watch this space!
