What we're about

ProductTank is a global network of meetups for product people, by product people, and provides an opportunity for Product Managers in Cardiff to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Design, Development and Management, Business Modelling, Metrics, User Experience and all the other things that get us excited.

Events include talks from guest speakers on topics around product management, networking opportunities, and a good old-fashioned chin-wag over a beer or two.

We're open to companies big and small. We also welcome early-stage technology businesses looking to learn how to get their ideas off the ground.

We also have a blog and encourage the community to get engaged by commenting on or writing new posts for http://www.mindtheproduct.com

Finally, check out our annual conferences in San Francisco, Singapore, and London: http://mtpcon.com

ProductTank Cardiff provides an opportunity for Product Managers to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Design, Development and Management, Business Modelling, Metrics, User Experience and all the other things that get us excited. Events include talks from guest speakers on topics around product management, networking opportunities, and a good old-fashioned chat over video. We're open to companies big and small. We also welcome early-stage technology businesses looking to learn how to get their ideas off the ground. Speaker 1: Nick Eales - 'Building an industry product' Nick is the Chief Product Officer & Co-Founder of Aforza, a global cloud company delivering solutions for the Consumer Goods industry. Aforza is built on the Salesforce and Google Cloud Platforms delivering solutions to improve product distribution and field execution processes. Aforza solutions utilize cutting edge AI, ML and mobile technology to give its customers differentiated improvements in revenue, employee efficiency, market reach and field effectiveness. Speaker 2: Colleen Graneto -' Do things that don't scale' Colleen will explain what it means to do things that don't scale and how it will improve your product. She'll share real life examples of this principle being applied at Airbnb and elsewhere, together with other product experiences that could have benefited from this approach. This session will equip you with frameworks that will speed up your product development process and increase the impact of what you launch. At Airbnb, Colleen is currently building a world class payments platform, empowering Airbnb’s marketplace of hosts and guests to exchange billions of dollars in over 190 countries and 70 currencies. Previously, she was a part of building out and scaling the Airbnb Experiences business after public launch in November 2016. Having worked with B2B and B2C products alike over her career, Colleen has a unique understanding of what is necessary to launch products that resonate with users, and how to bring those products to market quickly.
