Rich has spent 18 years building technology businesses as co-founder and CTO, and has sold three of them, including Parcel Monkey and Cloud Fulfilment. Between them they've generated more than £250m in online sales for over a million customers. He lives in Wales and spends a lot of time thinking about the gap between a good product and a good business.TALK: "A good product is not a good business."
Parcel Monkey and Cloud Fulfilment had the same founders, worked in the same sector and both had strong products. One grew far more easily than the other. Rich will unpick why, and share the questions he now asks up front: can this be sold, delivered and supported profitably? Evie's talk covers the rest of the job: staying clear-headed when your calendar's a mess, backing your own judgement under pressure, and giving your team direction when everything around them is shifting. She'll focus on the inner work that makes leaders effective (confidence, presence and clarity) and how to hold onto it when things get messy.
