ProductTank is a global network of meetups for product people, by product people, and provides an opportunity for Product Managers in Cayman Islands to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Design, Development and Management, Business Modelling, Metrics, User Experience and all the other things that get us excited.
Events include talks from guest speakers on topics around product management, networking opportunities, and a good old-fashioned chin-wag over a beer or two.
We're open to companies big and small. We also welcome early-stage technology businesses looking to learn how to get their ideas off the ground.
We are looking forward to hosting the next ProductTank Cayman Islands and very happy to welcome George Wauchope, serial entrepreneur and seasoned digital marketer.
George will be talking about two different case studies.
1. Hirago.com is a website that helps electrical, plumbing and HVAC companies in the US & Canada hire skilled tradespeople.
2. Thingstodocayman.net is a website that sells tours in the Cayman Islands.
George will guide us through marketing strategies behind both businesses and how he and his teams managed to generate hi-quality signups leading to sound sales. The talk will focus primarily on the marketing behind both websites. George will talk about what led to the success of both businesses from a marketing perspective.
George Wauchope was born in the Cayman Islands. He started his first company when he was 18, and now is involved in multiple businesses. His companies are in tourism, technology, and real estate. His background in online marketing has enabled him to achieve success in multiple different sectors.
We are keen to also spend time getting to know our network and making new connections on 20th November (Wednesday).
The format will be as follows
6.00 pm - Doors open
6.15 pm - Talk starts
7:00 pm - Q&A
7:30 pm - General socializing
8.00 pm - Close
Cayman Enterprise City will be providing us with a wonderful space for our meet up: Strathvale House. We will be on the 2nd floor, just take the elevator up to the second floor and follow the signs on the left.
Look forward to seeing you all there!
