ProductTank provides an opportunity for Product Managers working for (or wanting to work for) digital/web/mobile companies in Tel Aviv to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Management, Business Modelling, Metrics, User Experience and all the other things that get us excited. Events include talks from guest speakers on topics around product management, networking opportunities, and a good old-fashioned chin-wag over a beer or two. We're open to companies big and small. We also welcome early-stage technology businesses looking to learn how to get their ideas off the ground.

Shai Wininger, Co-Founder & CTO at Fiverr

"Building Better Products through Fact Driven Design"

The role of data in the creation process of product people and designers in early stage startups is controversial. Knowing when and how to incorporate the use of factual data into the creative process is a key to building successful products.

Shai founded several companies over the past 23 years, serving as CEO, CTO and HBD (Head of Beer Drinkin'). Before Fiverr, Shai lead innovation in internet, mobile games (the pre-iphone era) and most recently digital aircraft maintenance for the aerospace industry (Ah??). Shai was a contributor in various tech and design magazines and a teacher and speaker in leading academies in the fields of internet and mad science design. Shai is a strong believer in hard work and having fun while doing it. A little secret a few people know about Shai: his best ideas come in the shower (and Fiverr was one of those...). Shai Wininger: "I Love executing complex ideas and bringing them to life. I have a true passion for hacking, product innovation, design and branding, working hard and staying humble!"

Liad Agmon, CEO at Dynamic Yield

"Real-Estate Dilemmas of Product Managers"

As screens get smaller, product managers face a limited supply of pixels and are forced to make tougher UX decisions. We'll discuss two techniques of improving engagement metrics: yield-driven product management and the use of user-segmentation and personalization to serve the highest yielding product experiences.

Liad Agmon is a serial entrepreneur with rich experience as a startup founder and as a Fortune 500 executive. He founded information security vendor Onigma (acquired by McAfee) and social search company Delver (acquired by Sears Holdings). Following Delver's acquisition, Liad served as a VP of New Services at Sears Holdings and was a board member of its $2B+ business units of Home Electronics and Outlets. Liad served as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Bessemer Venture Capital, and is now heading a new AdTech startup and teaching at the Entrepreneurship MBA program in Tel-Aviv University and in the Zell Program at IDC Herzliya. He holds a BA Cum Laude from Tel-Aviv university in Computer Sciences and Film Studies.
