ProductTank Yorkshire (Sheffield) - January

Details
Thank you to all those that attended the first ProductTank Yorkshire event in Sheffield. ProductTank Yorkshire is coming to Sheffield, aiming to bring the local product community together. We hope to get the Steel City sharing ideas, best practices and lessons learned from across the various industries. If that's not enough to persuade you, as with previous events there will be free drinks and food!
Our theme for the next event is "Tight January!" - think product on a shoestring budget, or anything to do with resource constraints! We'll also be regaling war stories and bringing your Product toolkit up to scratch with a skills session.
The venue is directly opposite Sheffield train station; the address is:
Electric Works,
Sheffield Digital Campus,
Shefield,
S1 2BJ
Arrivals from 6.30pm - please sign in at reception, grab some food and drink then say hello and chat to fellow attendees - we're a friendly bunch!
Hannah Harvey: 7.00pm
Hannah Chaplin and Dan Dukeson: 7.30pm
Phil Hornby: 8.00pm
From 8.30 pm onwards we will head over to the Sheffield Tap just across the road for a few sociable drinks. Our lovely speakers this time are...
Hannah Harvey - Sky Betting & Gaming
- Hannah has worked in a number of Product roles for the past decade, primarily for EE (formerly Orange) and Sky Betting & Gaming. She enjoys the challenge of balancing new product launches with in-life support - making sure no one forgets their role in the product lifecycle. Hannah Chaplin and Dan Dukeson - Founders, Receptive (https://www.receptive.io/)
Phil Hornby - Director, SOT Consulting ( http://www.sotconsulting.com )
- Phil recently left Continental Automotive where he led Product Management for a business unit. He has experience across SMEs and multinational businesses throughout the product lifecycle, from idea and market validation through development, operations and end of life. He setup SOT to follow his passion to helping teams become more effective, in particular Product teams. He helps deliver Product Focus's ( http://www.productfocus.com ) leading Product Management training and consultancy as well as his own material covering individual and team effectiveness.
Phil has a full toolbox at his disposal and always loves to help others expand the tools they have available. He will be delivering a "skills session" to help expand the knowledge / toolkit available to others interested in Product.
