Main Presentation - This months guest speakers are Krishna Pabari & Jon Pepper from Acquire Capital, who will be speaking about the various ways to acquire private finance for your property developments.

The subjects they will cover in their presentation are:

• What are the different types of structures
• What is a Private Lender looking for in a borrower
• What does a Private Lender offer
• What are the danger signs in the industry

Acquire Capital Solutions is a boutique short-term lending company who are specialists in the South East Queensland finance market and property industry. They create and provide swift and responsive finance solutions as an alternative to traditional loans or equity.

Real Deal - This months Real Deal comes from Rod Dashevici and was a 3 lot subdivision created from an ex-park owned by the Department of Housing.

Sitting between two of their older Housing Commission developments, the State opted to sell the park that was covered in protected trees, however zoned for Residential Housing.

This was an interesting deal as the land was an odd shape meaning they had to be creative to make it work! They knew however that it would be a rewarding deal with all 3 parcels set within a highly desirable state school catchment area which drives demand in the pocket.

As with all Real Deals you will learn from the experience of others within the group as they present their own deals, and see what can go right and what can go wrong in your project, what profit they projected and then what profit they actually achieved.
