Summer Knit-a-Long

Join us for our first knit-a-long. For the uninitiated, a knit a long is when we all knit the same thing at the same time. It's fun to see the different variations that everyone comes up with and the best part is that if you have difficulties with the pattern, everyone else in the knit-a-long can help you out.

For our first knit-a-long we will be making a hat, "Hermione Hearts Ron." The difficulty is rated as easy. It includes knitting in the round, cables, increases and decreases. This is the perfect opportunity to learn all of the above techniques if you're a newbie and get a lot of support. I really think any beginner can do this hat. Join us for a cast-on party on Tuesday June 24th at Prost Brewing Company. For the cast on party you should have your yarn and needles ready to go. IMPORTANT: make sure you do your gauge swatch before the first meetup so you have the right needle sizes.
