Are you interested in gaining some hands-on experience building your own recurrent neural network? Then you won’t want to miss this session!

We are pleased to have Frank Burkholder (https://www.linkedin.com/in/frankburkholder/) lead what should be a very educational and fun evening at our June Meetup. Frank has an impressive and broad technical, corporate, research and academic background. He currently serves as an Associate Instructor in the Galvanize Data Science program, where amongst many duties, he has also been playing the role of the resident neural net subject-matter expert.

Frank’s talk on neural networks will involve both instruction and live coding exercises. During the course of the evening, you will build a simple recurrent neural net with Frank’s guidance and see it applied to predicting stock prices.

Please note: you will need to bring your laptop to this session in order to be able to partake in the coding exercises.

We will also be listing the necessary software requirements here on this page shortly. That way you can save some time by getting everything installed prior to arriving at Galvanize.
