This is a custom lesson plan for new programmers in Python. This introductory course is designed using Google Colab, a free python notebook environment that does not require user setup except the student requires a google account.

Annie will introduce the different kinds of objects and methods in Python, how and when to use them. We have available seating for 15 in-person registrants so RSVP soon and if you change your mind, please let us know asap.

Instructor: Annie Flippo
Bio: Annie Flippo is the Chief Data Officer at Urgently (a roadside assistance technology platform). She is a data expert focusing on the application of machine learning techniques to extract insights and improve business operations.
Her focus is to empower the data analytics team, lead the development of innovative data products and make data science accessible and intuitive for all. Annie is a teacher, mentor and volunteer in her local communities which include PyLadiesLA, UCLA DataFest and a local high school robotics team.
