A New Year, a New QueensJS

QueensJS will be hosting our 30th meetup on Wednesday, February 1st, at our usual haunt, Raven’s Head Pub in Astoria on 38th & Broadway, just around the corner from the Steinway MR stop and 7 short streets over from the Broadway NW stop.

Your speakers for the evening will be:

Lara Hogan (@lara_hogan) training us on "One weird trick to get better at public speaking"

Robert Balicki (@statisticsFTW) elucidating us with "Super smooth deployments with React and AWS"

Nick Hehr (@hipsterbrown) probably just showing off his mustache or something. (With something being "Microcontrollers as Microservices" - Get your IoT out of the Cloud)

QueensJS expects all speakers and attendees to follow the JSConf code of conduct.

RSVPs, due to limited seating, will cost $5. All proceeds go towards charities that work to increase code literacy among NYC youth. There are no refunds, but you are more than welcome to transfer tickets.

If you would like to sponsor or speak at one of our events, please email us at organizers at queensjs dot com!
