Ugly Holiday Sweater Party 3: Ugly Harder

QueensJS will be hosting our 40th meetup on Wednesday, December 6th, at our usual haunt, Raven’s Head Pub in Astoria on 38th & Broadway, just around the corner from the Steinway MR stop and 7 short streets over from the Broadway NW stop.

This month is our Ugly Holiday Sweater Party! You should come wearing your worst holiday sweater because the top 5 scientifically picked by your organizers will win a white elephant gift!

Your speakers for the evening will be:

• Louis Jimenez (@LouisAJimenez) preparing a promising jingle called "The await is over! A practical guide to async await"
• Christopher Deluca (@chrisjohndeluca) decking our halls with "Dr Strangecode, or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the DOM"
• Rushaine McBean (@copasetickid) will be dashing through the snow laughing about a "Need for Tests: Most Wanted"

QueensJS expects all speakers and attendees to follow the JSConf code of conduct (http://jsconf.com/codeofconduct.html).

RSVPs, due to limited seating, will cost $5. All proceeds go towards charities that work to increase code literacy among NYC youth. There are no refunds, but you are more than welcome to transfer tickets.
