Rhode Island has a concentration of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) practitioners doing innovative research, design, and development across nearly all of the key sectors of these new industries.
In addition, our colleges and universities are producing graduates who are trained in all the fields pertinent to VR/AR, providing workforce for companies who wish to grow or build their business in Rhode Island.
We are a group of technologists, innovators, community leaders and entrepreneurs who believe Rhode Island and its surroundings compete globally as a nexus for VR/AR activity, so we're seizing the opportunity to connect, coordinate, and foster the growth of a thriving industry cluster.
