What we're about

We all seek fulfillment in our lives. A desire to live life to our highest potential. To live at the greatest expression of our beings. To live in connection and intimacy with those that we love in our lives. Yet, old habits, internal critics, fear and doubt hold us back from living free and inspired lives. Hold us back from the intimacy we truly desire and deserve. We end up with a feeling that there must be more to life than just what we have, but no idea where to start when we want to create it.

I spent years reading self help books, going to seminars, transformation workshops, therapists, reading books by thought leaders like Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, and Luise Hay, but nothing was getting to the root of changing my behavior. Nothing that helped me keep all of the benefits they all spoke about as part of my life. It was as if I knew how to do it all, but I didn't do it. It was like knowing how to play the piano in my head, but never sitting down to practice actually playing the piano. I didn't realize this. I didn't realize I was just learning something in my head but had no way to practice it. I thought eventually I would just change, magically, and start realizing all of the things they talked about in my life.

In 2015 I came upon the practice called Orgasmic Meditation and it has changed my life. It stopped my magical thinking, and gave me a place to practice all of the things I knew to be true in my head but couldn't do. It brought intimacy and connection into my life that I knew was possible but keep eluding me. It awakened me to a way of being that I only heard was possible. It is a practice that has giving me the life and relationships I always wanted. But it wasn't easy.

The practice of Orgasmic Meditation (OM) is a practice that combines the power and attention of meditation with the deeply human, deeply felt, and connected experience of Orgasm. Many people have heard of the practice, or have tried it or may even have a regular practice. This meetup is for people that would like to learn about OM or have a practice or would like to connect with other people that OM. For people that want to learn more about what the practice has to offer. It's a simple practice, but it can bring up a lot, so it's not always easy to do.
