Come downtown for food, drink, talks, and socializing. We'll be talking about ReactJS and related technologies. Talks/topics to be covered:

Using React/Redux to make an RPG! by Justin Duncan

Whenever learning a giant library like React, we likely create ‘playground’ folders to learn the basics. After which we delete all that hard work. I’ll cover why using an RPG to learn something like React/Redux is not only appropriate, but fun!

Getting Around With React Navigation by Gabi Procell

Mobile apps rarely consist of a single screen as we often find ourselves swiping left, right, up or down to get somewhere. React Navigation is a great tool to help any beginning mobile developer navigate their users around their application. I'll cover some of the basics with using React Navigation. Some knowledge of React (and routing) is recommended, React Native knowledge isn't required but a high-level view will be provided for inquiring minds.
