Michael Shilman (@mshilman (https://twitter.com/mshilman))

Michael Shilman is a Storybook OSS maintainer and has driven the 3.x releases, collaborating with a virtual team of over 230 Storybook contributors around the world. He develops and uses Storybook as a crutch to help overcome his own design handicaps.

Topic: Storybook is the leading component development environment for React, React Native, and Vue. It’s used by front-end powerhouses like AirBnB, Slack, and Squarespace, among many others. In this interactive talk, Michael will show how the recent Storybook 3.x releases are evolving to help build and maintain design systems.

Irfan is a full stack Developer at lunchbadger.com (http://lunchbadger.com/). He's also a lead contributor to the Express Gateway (https://github.com/ExpressGateway/express-gateway) project. He has spoken about Node and React at multiple meetup groups in SF and Chicago, and has led folks in React workshops.

Topic: Irfan will introduce you to React Router v4 and will take you through making a simple as well as complex routing application.

Jon Wong (@jnwng (https://twitter.com/jnwng))

Jon is an engineer at Coursera and an expert on React and GraphQL.

Topic: GraphQL provides a succinct, powerful, and flexible way to describe the data requirements of your increasingly complex applications. In conjunction with caching clients like Apollo and the component structure of React, GraphQL presents a monumental shift in how products can be built on both web and mobile clients —a shift that affects product developers and backend developers alike. Learn how the Coursera Engineering team is bridging the gap between REST and GraphQL in order to create a much more intentional approach to product-centric API design.

Sergey Yavnyi (@glatteis (https://twitter.com/glatteis))

Sergey is a senior engineer at Grammarly and is the developer for Focal, a state management library for React.

Topic: Focal is a state management library for React. In this talk, we will explore how, leveraging the power of RxJS and functional references, you can get all the benefits of centralized immutable state without any of the hassle.

PM me if you would like to speak at an upcoming meetup.
