Hiking on Saturday, Location: UC Davis Arboretum Trail

Sacramento is filled with gorgeous hiking places, ranging from riverside nature to rugged hills. Join us for a hike event each 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month to one of these sites, meet new people, and observe nature.
Our hike this Saturday will be in UC Davis Arboretum trail. This hike is going to be an easy one, mostly flat and paved terrain around Putah Creek and through beautiful scenery of plants and flowers.
We will gather in visitor parking lot 5 at 8:30am. These parking lots are paid during weekdays through ParkMobile app.
Access: Drive I-80 West, take exit 72B to North Richards Blvd, take a right onto Richard Blvd, take a left onto 1st st., keep driving on 1 st st, take a left onto Old Davis Rd. Drive about 880 ft and Visitor Parking Lot 5 will be on the left.
Length: 3.5 miles.
Configuration: loop.
Difficulty: easy.
Exposure: mostly shaded.
Scenery: flora from around the world.
Trail surface: Asphalt, pebble, and sand.
Hiking time: two hours plus stops.
Fees: no fees or permits required.
Comments: could use some water and a selfie stick.
