This meetup group is for anyone who wants to know what events are open and being held at Reason Center. (Most events are not organized or affiliated with Reason Center, unless noted in the description.)
Join if you are interested in attending secular events of all kinds, such as guest speakers, movie nights, potlucks, game nights, and other educational events.
Some groups that use Reason Center include Atheists and Other Freethinkers (AOF), Sunday Assembly, humanist meetings, climate change, etc.

## Get Dirty for a Good CauseFrom California Freethought Day:
On Saturday, September 20th, we have this great opportunity to join with other local secular groups and do some environmental work that benefits our community. Join the secular community, statewide, as we clean our lakes, beaches, rivers, and parks through California's Coastal Cleanup program. After the cleanup, California Freethought Day has a treat for us: they are offering a $10 per person (with limitations) reimbursement for brunch! We can all gather to eat and chat after all that work!
Sunday Assembly Sacramento is participating and folks from other groups, such as Black Humanists and Non-Believers and Atheists and Other Freethinkers will join us. The Sunday Assembly Help Often group will be there to lead us. We will gather at the Reason Center at 8:30 am and walk over or carpool to the Ethan Way River Access adjacent to Cal Expo to get the introduction at 9:00 am.You can sign the waiver for the hosting organization here or sign the paper on the day of the event. There is information there, but if it is confusing, just come on the 20th and you can sign there.
