What we’re about

Calling all recruiters who want to improve their sourcing skills, share tips and gain insight from other recruiters in the trenches. This meetup is aimed primarily at independent, external recruiters who may or may not have agency experience. We are a mutually supportive group of talent acquisition specialists wanting to master their craft (though all HR professionals wishing to share their experience are welcome).

Think of us as a "water cooler" where we share/learn tips, discuss best practices, and make excellent and lasting connections!
In a given session we might cover topics such as: - Applicant Tracking Software - LinkedIn tips and tricks - Business Development - Self-promotion, contingency vs. retainer, etc. I recently moved into recruiting from the engineering profession, and did not have the benefit of an agency or HR background where I could learn tricks of the trade, so I'm learning on the job - I'm guessing some of you are in the same situation!

We will meet at different locations in and around SF, times and locations to be nailed down based on interest levels. It as a social opportunity as well -- if you're like me and work on your own, this biz can be lonely at times! Your thoughts and comments appreciated.
