In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.
Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.
The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
Getting ready for Saturday’s Rally? This is a peaceful non-violent action. Bring your signs and flags! Bring your friends, neighbors and families. If you were at the Hands Off or No Kings 1.0 rallies, you saw the range of ages and people who attended. It was a joyful day filled with passionate people making their voices heard. We expect even more people on October 18th! Bring your family and friends. Here are some TIPS to remember: · Follow the directions of the marshals, wearing yellow vests. They have been trained, and they are there to keep you safe. · Keep a three-foot buffer between you and the road. No signs hanging over the road. · No one should be standing in the bike lane or blocking the bus stops. · Be respectful of the businesses and try not to block their entrance. · Be mindful of the plants. · Cross ONLY at the crosswalks. REMEMBER to spread out down Woodward on both the east and west sides, both north and south of 9 Mile Road. Bunching up at the corners is not effective and can block people crossing at the intersections. Looking forward to an energetic joyful rally on October 18th from 12 noon-2:00 p.m! OUR COMMITMENT IS TO NONVIOLENCE
