Join us for our first meetup in Denver, hosted by Effective UI (http://www.effectiveui.com/), with Pizza and beer provided by Viget (http://viget.com/)! The next RMDPM Meetup will feature Keren Nimmo, (https://www.linkedin.com/pub/keren-veksler-nimmo/0/41b/421) Vice President of Client Engagement for EffectiveUI, who will discuss the “Seven Deadly Sins of Project Management.” Keren will expand upon an article she wrote recently (http://www.projecttimes.com/articles/the-seven-deadly-sins-of-project-management.html) by explaining how project managers have often received bad advice and have been misguided on their true value. Learn how behaviors such as “Don’t Take Notes” can elevate the role of project managers from that of order-takers to strategic leaders.
A transformational business and technology leader with 16+ years of experience on the client-side, in agencies and in management consulting, Keren is known for building world-class teams, pushing transformational change and applying human-centered design to solve complex business challenges. She is responsible for delivering superior and differentiated customer experiences while simultaneously achieving operational excellence.
Prior to EffectiveUI, Keren was the Director of Business Transformation (included ePMO) at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers. She was responsible for leading a team of Project Managers, Business Analysts and Quality Assurance Analysts who were charged with enabling innovation and change, managing large and complex system implementations and optimizing business processes.
