BORN TO BE MILD. We’ve done several of these socially responsible Coronavirus Escape Rides now, and they went smoothly. The weather was nice, the traffic was very light, and there were quite a few other bikers on the road. Everyone was very respectful of the 6’ SAFE SOCIAL DISTANCING guidelines, and we all parked 1 bike per parking space. They were both 3 to 3 1/2 hour rides.

What else have we got to do? Get out the house! I’m thinking southeast-ish for this ride. Head out towards Kiowa, with a little diversion through the unique neighborhood Tree Farm, then south through Elbert City, and back home north thru the Black Forest, and Parker. A pleasant, easy ride.

Please be fully gassed up and bring a snack, as we won’t be stopping at any businesses. Even so, bring some hand sanitizer. You might want to consider leaving your gloves and helmet on. You’re practically in a hazmat suit. 🧑‍🚀 I can’t think of a better way to go out in public! We’ll take a 15 minute break about half way out, and then we can discuss who’s going home which way where, and regroup.

Kickstands Up @ 11:45am.
