What we’re about

Rogue Writers Edinburgh meetings have been hosted virtually since March 2020.  Meeting details and passwords will be circulated to people who have signed up. Without exception, prospective RW members are required to provide their legal first and surnames and a link to at least one active social media account(s) for consideration/approval. To help build and maintain camaraderie, attendees are expected to be on camera for the majority of the meeting.

Be Open. Stay Curious.
**************************
Rogue Writers, formerly part of the Edinburgh Creative Writers Club, is now an independent group since 2020.

Prospective members will need to use their full legal first and surname when asking to join Rogue Writers and be on camera for the majority (more than 75%) of the Zoom meeting.

The group is a forum for anyone interested in writing, both readers and writers – new and experienced – to come and read their work and receive helpful criticism in a friendly environment. All kinds of writing are welcome; fiction, non-fiction, poetry, song lyrics, limericks, haikus, etc. There is no requirement to read, however, if you do, please bring no more than 2,500 words of prose or 2-3 poems.

There is currently no charge for membership, however, in 2024 we will ask for small voluntary contributions to help defray the cost of running the group.
