What we’re about
Meet with local GMs who need players, players who need games, and discuss RPGs in general. Stop spending all that time reading the books and making up characters, and actually PLAY! We also have meetup for oneshots and conventions.

- "B2: The Keep on the Borderlands" an Old-School D&D Mini-CampaignOff The Shelf Games, El Cajon, CA
Come play a Mini-Campaign featuring the classic scenario “The Keep on the Borderlands” by Gary Gygax, one of the earliest and most played D&D adventures. The player characters are based out of Dragonclaw Keep and are investigating a series of caverns in the nearby hills that are teeming with monsters.
Beginners and new players are more than welcome! Everything you need to play is provided.
What is a Mini-Campaign?
We’ll play 5 sessions of an adventure, and at the end of the 5th session, the Mini-Campaign ends. After a short break a new Mini-Campaign will begin with a new adventure (See below for Mini-Campaign schedule and possible future adventures).
It is preferred that players attend all 5 sessions, however this is not required. This Mini-Campaign is being run as an “Open Table” and therefore players both new and returning are welcome to attend any session they are able, including the finale. Even if you can only make one or two sessions, feel free to drop in for some old-school D&D fun! Pre-generated characters will be available.
System: Old-School Essentials - Dungeons & Dragons rules from 1981.
Date/Time: Sunday, October 8th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Location: Off The Shelf Games (173 Fletcher Pkwy, El Cajon, CA 92020) - Please note there is a $8 per person entry fee at this venue unless you are a member.
GM Notes: Character death is not unusual in this system, but fear not; Numerous pre-generated characters will be available and you’ll be playing again in minutes. Beginners are more than welcome.

- San Diego RPG meetup and chat - tea n moreTea N More, San Diego, CA
Get together and hang out with other gamers. Find a game to get into or find players. Discuss old school, story games, popular rpgs and upcoming oneshots, games and rpg events.
If you are new to tabletop roleplaying games this is a great meetup to learn more about the hobby and possibly find a game.
After the chat we usually break into smaller groups and play games.
