Ruby on Rails Development Hub

Ruby on Rails Development Hub

Details

What is it?

This is a monthly Meetup event sponsored by reInteractive (http://www.reinteractive.net) and supported by General Assembly (https://generalassemb.ly/sydney), where you can bring along your laptop and get coding!

No matter what your experience, beginner to expert, our Developers will personally help you with whatever difficulty you are running into. Whether it be working through our step by step Rails tutorials, improving your app, or code writing tips, our Developers will be there to help you take your skills to the next level.

When and Where?

When: This will be held on Tuesday evening at 6.30pm-9.30pm on the 2nd of July.

Where: General Assembly (https://generalassemb.ly/sydney), Level 1, 608 Harris Street, Ultimo. We have assembled a set of directions here (http://www.reinteractive.net/service/development_hub_directions).

Who can Attend?

Anyone can attend our DevelopmentHub. From complete beginners to experienced users of Ruby on Rails, we welcome anyone who wants to come along to improve your Ruby on Rails skills or get advice on the Rails application of your dreams.

For those of you who are fresh graduates of our InstallFest service (http://www.reinteractive.net/service/installfest) or have completed the first (http://www.reinteractive.net/posts/32-ruby-on-rails-3-2-blog-in-15-minutes-step-by-step) and second (http://www.reinteractive.net/posts/34) InstallFest blog posts in your own time, our Developers will help walk you through another series of articles to continue to develop your Ruby on Rails learning experience step by step.

What does it cost?

Nothing :) It's free!

Why reInteractive Then?

We have some awesome Ruby on Rails developers working with us and we want more people involved in the community!

Our founder, Mikel Lindsaar, is among the top Rails contributors world wide and that same commitment to excellence extends to our entire team of experienced developers, working daily on both commercial and open-source projects. With many satisfied clients, both large and small, the reInteractive team is usually kept very busy by word of mouth and repeat business. Perhaps we can help you with your application development needs too!

Will there be food?

Yes, Ninefold (http://ninefold.com) are organising pizza and drinks for you to munch on while you are working on tough Ruby on Rails problems!
