As you might have heard mentioned at the previous few meetups, we're adding the element of surprise to our next event, and having our Mystery Lightning Talks.

How it works:

On arrival, you will write your name and talk idea on a piece of paper which we will put in a hat. Then over the course of the night we will draw names out of the hat to present.

Talks will be limited to five minutes in length.

Of course, we won't force you to talk. Particularly if you're new, or not comfortable with public speaking, it's OK to opt-out. But if you're a regular, or an awesome generous person, we'd like you to come with a short talk prepared!

Ideas might be:

• gems you use

• weird bugs you've discovered

• workflows or tools you like

• things you've made

• summaries of awesome talks you've seen elsewhere

Your talk doesn't have to be perfect or polished - you don't even need to use slides if you don't want to.

We're looking forward to hearing from a variety of people on the night, so please think of anything you've found fun, useful, interesting, strange or helpful, and come and tell us all about it!

Then afterwards let's go and chat about it all at the pub or, if you can hack it, gelato.
