Ultra running and craft beer just go together. This trail running Crew is focused on member's committed to run their first or umteenth ultra trail race (50K distance or longer) with a lil' liquid carb loading in-between. We've several local ultra running veterans willing to share their training and racing tips as we log the miles. We meet every Wednesday for 90 minutes followed by an optional brew and/or meal at the Fair Oaks Brew Pub. We'll also be doing regular weekend long runs of 3+ hours up in the foothills (will be a separate event). Come get dirty with us! I've been ultra running for 25+ years, completed nearly 100 ultras including Hardrock and Western States 100 and gained my trail knowledge not from books but from time on the trails with wily veterans. My hope is I'll be able to help you discover your inner strength, achieve your ultra goals, discover and in return gain a new friend.
