Modernizing your Data Warehouse & New Way to Think About SharePoint Security
Modernizing your Enterprise Data Warehouse Yared Tsegaye and Adam Ormond, AIS (This session will be presented virtually. Link to session TBD.) There are a lot of advantages in moving a data warehouse into the cloud, such as rapid scalability, reduced maintenance, and continuous technology improvements. During this presentation we will discuss an implementation of a Platform-as-a-Service solution to migrate an on-premise Teradata enterprise data warehouse into Azure SQL Data Warehouse. In addition to data migration, we will also explore executing ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and SQL Server Integration Services. Finally, we will demonstrate how this data can be exploited using Power BI and presented in a custom web application. A New Way to Think of SharePoint Security Matthew Kostak, Accenture We all know managing SharePoint security can be a nightmare and sometimes It’s hard to explain how to manage to users.
