What we're about

It's pretty straightforward. We're a group of people that like to RUN and have fun! Every Wednesday we meet at a different local bar throughout San Diego, go for a run, and finish back at the bar to cool down and socialize over drinks. If you're in your 21-30s (or just think you can hang) with a fun and outgoing personality looking to meet new people and explore San Diego, then come join us! Even if you show up late, the course will be chalked out on the sidewalk so you know where to go. All of our runs are mapped out on MapMyRun.com so you can follow along via their mobile app!

All running paces are welcome! We have enough people that runners of all paces have someone to run with! Our group consists of runners who are just starting out to people that have qualified for the Boston Marathon! Many of our runners have improved in both distance and pace since they started running with us! Whether you are new to San Diego, looking to meet new friends, or just want to escape the humdrum of everyday life, these Wednesday runs are a great way to unplug. Make sure to follow us on Instagram @sdfunrun!

This week we return to Clairemont for a relatively flat run of the neighborhood. We start by heading down Clairemont Drive to Ute Drive, which then becomes Cowley Way. We then take Cowley all the way to July Street. We then head back to the bar via Burgener Drive.

This week's Bar is Bay Hill Tavern, a great spot for some craft beers and food post run. They set up some tables outside, so we can enjoy the view of the Sunset over Mission Bay as we unwind from this run.

Still have questions? Check the FAQ then ask away. Top two questions: What's the pace of the group? All paces welcome! Is there somewhere to store my stuff during the run? No, the group does not provide storage. We recommend bringing only your ID and beer money in your pocket.
