What we're about

We love to just... go! "There is something in human nature, and something in the American character, that will continue to call to those who ride and those who dream of riding to faraway places." We're two locals who strive to do just that, to share our knowledge of the SF Bay Area and our secret (or not so secret) favorite spots along the road. Join us for one of our upcoming rides TBA soon...

🏍️ Gender balanced // All makes & colors (bikes & humans) // All backgrounds welcome // Safety first // 🚫 No drama // Always fun 🏍️

NB. We recommend you have at least 2 years of street riding experience on motorcycle 400cc or larger. You need to be comfortable going 75mph on the freeway, and at least the speed limit on surface streets and backroads.

NB2. This group is sponsored by Native Moto Adventures (https://www.ridenative.com/) as part of their commitment to the Bay Area riding community. Please follow us @RideNative

To Ukiah and Back (Again)

Blue Beagle Coffee

Join us for an epic full day ride up to Ukiah and back! This was the ride originally planned for April--now rescheduled for Saturday, June 17!

We will meet at Blue Beagle Coffee in Santa Rosa at 9:30 AM on Saturday, June 17--KSU 10 AM. Please arrive with a full tank of gas. In total we will ride about 240 miles (no highways).

This will be a full day ride starting in Santa Rosa, taking us up to Middletown, through Hopland, and topping out in Ukiah where we will have lunch at Molcajete. After lunch we take CA-253, to CA-128 down to Cloverdale, make our way west to Monte Rio, go down through Occidental, head over to Nicasio, and then take Lucas Valley Road to our final destination in San Rafael.

Lunch and 1st gas stop will be in Ukiah about 90 miles from our starting point. 2nd gas stop will be in Healdsburg about 90 miles from 1st gas stop/lunch. Final destination is about 60 miles from 2nd gas stop.

Please read the following before signing up:

  • The pace will be spirited -- you should be comfortable going 10-15 mph above the recommended speed limit
  • You should be comfortable lane splitting and passing cars in a single lane
  • You should be comfortable doing 200+ miles of backroads in a single day
  • I recommend everyone download the route (some minor adjustments may occur during the ride)
  • I recommend bringing sun protection, snacks, and something to drink!

TL/DR:

  • Meet at Blue Beagle Coffee at 9:30 AM (with full tank of gas)
  • KSU at 10:00 AM
  • Lunch in Ukiah around 12 PM at Molcajete
  • End at Northgate, San Rafael around 5:30 PM

Ride will be rescheduled if it rains.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Lunch at the Rio Nido Roadhouse

Bayside Café

"You can teach a man to fish, or give him a motorcycle (so they can ride it to get fish & chips)." - unknown

Ride to the Rio Nido Roadhouse for lunch via Coleman Valley Road. After lunch it's up to you to continue on, head back or stay for a swim. Pace will be "chill". Count on a crowded weekend with lots of cars and bicycles on the roads.

Coleman Valley rd. is beautiful, has good pavement, but qualifies as goaty. There is no centerline and a couple of steep turns.

Be familiar with the route and download to your device. Please arrive with a full tank of gas.

Meet at Bayside Cafe in Sausalito, 9am, 9:30KSU.
