Container Journey: Lessons learned building a deployment pipeline

Demandbase will be generously hosting the next SF Bay Area Rancher User Group Meetup at their offices in SoMa.

Speakers:

Will Chan, VP of Engineering at Rancher Labs will discuss updates from Rancher 1.3 (the latest release) and preview features for the next version of the Rancher container management platform.

The Demandbase DevOps team will provide an overview of our container journey, from moving away from Chef to fully-containerized environments in Rancher. Presentation will include insight into design and architecture decisions, tools and technologies, our deployment pipeline, container and cluster modeling, lessons learned, and ideas for the future.

Hello!! The invite says "other Ranchers in Cupertino"?? Is this meetUp in SF or Cuper?

    January 12

    • Ilya F.

Hey Andrew! This meetup is oscillating between South Bay and San Francisco. We picked Cupertino as the meetup's home because that's where Rancher's HQ is.

The session today will be in the city.
