Yaad is leading the Technology and Platform team in SAP Corporate Strategy as Vice President. Yaad is working together with SAP leadership team to drive SAP Platform and Technology strategy, with a key focus on identifying new innovative technologies and growth opportunities.

Yaad is also the Lead Technical Advisor for SAP.iO Funds which invests in the next generation of enterprise software startups, leveraging advanced technologies as Machine Learning and IoT.

In his previous roles, Yaad was part of SAP Product and Innovation group for 10 years, filling several managerial positions in the areas of product management and development.

Vijay Reddy (http://www.intelcapital.com/team/member.html?id=159), Intel Capital

Vijay Reddy is an Investment Manager at Intel Capital investing in Software and Services including Open Source platform technologies, Cloud Computing and Internet of Things. His primary areas of interest are in Machine Learning, AI, Robotics and Computer Vision. Vijay is a board observer and/or has responsibility for several portfolio companies including Inrix, Zumigo, Voxer, Mirantis, BlueData and Whoknows. Prior to joining Intel, Vijay held senior Business Development and Product Development roles in the communications, software and semiconductor industries. He began his career as an entrepreneur when he postponed his PhD to co-found his first startup. He brings an entrepreneurial perspective and has taken a founder first approach while being actively involved with the startup community as a mentor and advisor. Vijay received his MBA from Chicago Booth (Finance and Entrepreneurship) and has a BS & MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering with top honors.

Grant Allen is Managing Director of ABB Technology Ventures (ATV) and is based in San Jose, California.

Grant leads ABB’s innovation efforts in Silicon Valley and invests in companies across North America and Western Europe. He has personally led investments in Industrial Defender (cybersecurity for industrial control systems and other critical infrastructure; acquired by Lockheed Martin), Validus DC Systems (datacenter power conversion; acquired by ABB), Persimmon Technologies (vacuum robots and 3D printed motor parts), Scotrenewables (offshore tidal power) and TaKaDu (cloud analytics for water utilities). Areas of interest include Internet of Things (IoT), industrial sensing, analytics and other software, robotics, and energy efficiency.

Before joining ABB in 2010, Allen was with Core Capital Partners, a $400 million venture fund based in Washington, DC focused on investments in enterprise software and network security. Prior to that, he was with Microsoft in their Mobile & Embedded Devices division; Jingle Networks (backed by First Round Capital and Goldman Sachs; acquired for $63 million); and several start-ups including a web services firm he founded at 19. Allen has also invested personally in a number of companies including Uber, Alibaba (NYSE: BABA), LivingSocial, AltspaceVR, Avizia and EquityZen, and is a founding member of NextGen Angels. He is an advisor to numerous startups and an invited speaker at SXSW, the ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit and the Watt D’Or Swiss-US Energy Innovation Day where ABB received Best Achievement in the Energy Sector. Grant holds degrees from Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and has completed executive education at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Abhishek Shukla leads the team focused on finding investment opportunities in Industrial Internet (IIoT), Cloud, Cybersecurity, Big Data/ Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and other technologies associated with GE Digital portfolio. Prior to joining GE Ventures, Abhishek was a member of Cisco’s Corporate Development & Ventures Investments team leading Security and Services portfolio and was involved in multiple acquisitions & investments. In his earlier career, Abhishek has held leadership positions in M&A, Strategy and Sales in Agilent, Sony and SAP while living and working in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India and the US. Abhishek holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications engineering from Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and a MBA from Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.

Matt rejoined Cisco in 2016 after several years at Comcast Ventures where he led investments in a number of sectors including data center, cloud, big data, devops, machine learning and AI. Matt leads investment and acquisition efforts for Cisco’s portfolio surrounding Internet of Things, collaboration, and enterprise networking. In his earlier career in Cisco Corporate Development, Matt was responsible for a number of acquisitions and investments primarily in the data center, storage and virtual infrastructure domains. Examples include Insieme, Virident and Desktone. Prior to Cisco he was at TeleSoft Partners where he invested in infrastructure companies such as Matrix Semiconductor, Jungo Software and Validity Sensors. Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, he was at Terayon Communication Systems, where he initially architected and designed ASICs for Terayon’s cable modem systems before moving into product marketing and product management.

Matt received his B.S., Summa Cum Laude, and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.

Debjit Mukerji (https://www.linkedin.com/in/debjit-mukerji-9884502), next47

Debjit Mukerji is a Director with the venture capital team at next47, based in Palo Alto, CA. next47 is Siemens’ recently launched venture firm investing in category-leading startups across advanced manufacturing, next-gen transportation solutions, robotics, cybersecurity, industrial IOT and analytics and more. In the past, Debjit was Director at Siemens Technology to Business where he forged funded strategic partnerships between Siemens business groups and promising startups. He was previously Vice President of Research at Cleantech Group, where he focused on green transportation and energy storage segments. Debjit was earlier at Rho Ventures, where he contributed across all of the firm's investment areas including energy, IT, life sciences, and new media. Prior to that, Debjit was a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at the Aerospace Corporation, where he was responsible for the design and development of mission-critical spacecraft thermal control systems.

Debjit received a PhD in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
