Dharma Protocol and the Importance of Decentralized Financial Primitives

Details

The Main Event (LIMITED TO 50 ENGINEERS):

SF Cryptocurrency Devs is an engineers-only developer meetup for blockchain engineers seeking to learn about the innovation surrounding new and emerging applications of cryptography to digital currencies.

We would like to introduce SF Cryptocurrency Developers to Dharma! https://dharma.io/

At Dharma, we believe in the vision of a decentralized finance industry. In this workshop, we'll deep dive into Dharma, a suite of open-source developer tools for the creation of decentralized lending applications. We'll discuss the issues of transparency, programmability, and permissionless innovation. And finally, we'll speak to the importance of interoperable open source financial primitives and how they help build financial markets are inclusive, equable, and global.

The speaker will be Nadav Hollander, Founder & CEO of Dharma -- a suite of developer tools for tokenized debt agreements on blockchains like Ethereum. Nadav was formerly an engineer at both Coinbase & Google, and graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Computer Science.
