Strategic Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Business

In this talk, the Co-Founder of Vidora, a churn prediction and prevention company, will present the idea of “Strategic AI” for businesses as the natural progression and evolution of big data and machine learning technologies. The first half of the talk will focus on use cases for Strategic AI with some of the largest global companies including News Corp and Walmart. The second half of the talk will dive into the internals of the algorithms Strategic Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Business and implementation at Vidora. Throughout the talk we will examine how advanced machine learning algorithms are deployed in the real world, at scale, across tens of millions of users.

Vidora leverages AI technologies to enable the optimization of business goals for leading global companies like News Corp, Walmart, and Yahoo! Japan. Vidora’s founders and engineering team are PhDs, graduates, and experts in AI from Caltech, Stanford, and Berkeley. Vidora is located in SOMA in the heart of Silicon Valley.

About the Presenter:

Alex Holub (https://www.linkedin.com/in/alexholub) holds a PhD from Caltech where he studied machine learning and computer vision. Most recently he founded the AI company Vidora with Abhik Majumdar and Philip West which features customers like News Corp, Walmart, and Yahoo! Japan.
