Talk 1: Detailed Insights on the Operation of Ethereum Nodes

Eric Tu from Infura will provide hard-won lessons on running Ethereum Nodes. His talk will provide practical knowledge around the many complexities of hosting nodes even down to resource allocation details such as disk I/O, network I/O, and more. His talk will draw from the Infura team's experience in handling 2.5B+ API requests a data from clients such as Metamask, CryptoKitties, and other high traffic wallets and browser entry points.

About the Speaker
Eric Tu is blockchain software developer at ConsenSys and is responsible for developing and operating Infura's scalable access points to Ethereum and IPFS. He is based in Ontario, Canada but travels to developer events around the globe.

Pete Kim from Cipher Browser will provide an in-depth look at the state of Ethereum on mobile. Cipher Browser is the first full-featured mobile Web 3 DApp browser and wallet for Ethereum, available on both iOS and Android.

Pete Kim (@petejkim) is the creator and lead developer of Cipher Browser. Prior to Cipher, he was co-founder and CTO at Nitrous.IO, an early cloud-based development platform that over 400,000 developers used to develop powerful web applications.
