Liam Horne, the founder of L4 Ventures, will be presenting Counterfactual, a framework for building generalized state channels. Liam will discuss what generalized state channels are and why they're beneficial to Ethereum developers (hint: you can scale your dApp a million-fold!), and then show how Counterfactual has been created to easily build dApps that utilize generalized state channels.

Following Liam's overview of Counterfactual, Erik Bryn will provide a line by line walkthrough on how to actually build a scalable dApp using Counterfactual. Erik is a veteran open source developer who helped build the Counterfactual framework - he is a former Ember.js core team member, and has brought years of open source experience to making Counterfactual high quality and easy to use.
