Abstract
Talk 1: Debugging cloud native apps with Conduit and Prometheus
Recently, the Conduit service mesh rebuilt its Prometheus integration from the ground up. In this talk, we dive into what we learned, why we changed things, and how the changes better fit the Prometheus data model. We demonstrate how the resulting system can be used to address critical debugging problems that are unique to microservices, by providing the operator with instant views into service behavior across the entire application without needing to change any code.
