Economic development of the solar system

Details

Join us for our fourth meetup where a world renowned space speaker and a NASA veteran

Dennis Wingo

will speak about economic development of the solar system.

Dennis Wingo (http://www.orbitalrecovery.com/dwingo.html) has become a leading innovator in private space development, especially with regard to commercial operations that take place in space. His company SkyCorp (http://www.skycorpinc.com/), for example, put forward the first serious proposal to do spacecraft assembly in space. His SkySats would be built on the International Space Station and released to form a constellation of satellites to provide low cost broadband Internet access worldwide.

The meeting will be hosted at Mozilla San Francisco's first floor Common Space which is adjacent to the reception area (Ste 175).

Address and map: Mozilla San Francisco - 2 Harrison Street, Suite 175 (first floor common space) San Francisco, CA 94105 http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/contact/spaces/san-francisco/

Public Transportation:
Bart: The closest BART station is at Embarcadero. You have two options:
Walk (0.6 Miles; 8-12 minutes)Muni (6 minutes)

CalTrain: From the CalTrain station at 4th & King, you can either:Walk (1.1 miles; 15-20 minutes)

Take Muni (7 minutes) and get off at Embarcadero & Harrison St./Folsom StMuni: Because only the T and N (weekday) go to Folsom station and the transition from street to tunnel mode is slow, it might be quicker to walk to and from Embarcadero Muni station.
