So you missed our first Wine Tour? Well, don't miss this one, it's the last of the year for us.

Tower Tours Presents: Napa/ Sonoma Wine Tour

Cost: $65 (Goto: http://www.triptosf.com to purchase tickets)

Time: 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM

This is a very nice tour, sculptured to please your senses. Taking off from Ghirardelli Square, you board a no less than top notch Mercedes Benz, elegant tour bus. The drivers are first class and knowledgeable in all aspects of the tour. Why, one driver even explained the reclining seats. You embark on your journey across the Bay Bridge, but wait; you get detail history of many landmarks as you leave The City. Then, over and past Oakland, with more historical information and up into the Napa Valley.

My tour, stopped at Madonna Vineyard/Winery. Oh yes, there is a difference, and the driver will explain all that. Welcome mats are everywhere and the staff is on top of their game. They explain the wonderful history of the winery, show you all around the grounds, and Poof, you're in the tasting room.

Now, here comes the education. Novice or not, you become fluent in Winnies. Tasting begins, and the staff does not discriminate. They treat all empty glasses the same. They fill them!

Now that you are an expert, know how to un-cork and re-cork a bottle of wine like the pros, the party is just beginning. Yes, it is now off to Sutter Homes for more fine wine tasting and oops, did you know, White Zinfandel was a wine making mistake? No? Well, you will also learn all about that. This is a nice winery and you will again, have all the tastings you want.

Getting hungry? Well how about lunch at a beautiful little park in Sonoma. Don't take the bus drivers tips on the restaurants here. Scout it out for yourself, and then find your meal pickings as you like them. You have an hour and a half (Foodies love this part).

Then, another stop at the Cline Winery for the final go round. Here if you hurry, you can see some amazing models of all the Spanish Missions built in California. Note: they close the museum door at 4:00 PM.

Then, one last stop before we head home, at the Sonoma Valley Fruit Basket. What a fruit stand! They have incredible yummy fruit, nuts and much more for you to enjoy.

So, are you satisfied? Ok, sit back and relax as we cross the Golden Gate Bridge, with the sounds of "I left My Heart". Gorgeous? Yes, pleasant? Yes, enthralling absolutely and repeatable, most definitely.

Dropping down off the Gate, you are back at Ghirardelli Square where if you would like to continue, we can wrap it all up with a stop at Jack's, our favorite bar or stroll down to Pier 39 and look at the sites.

All-in-all, what a day! This is for the young at heart. You will enjoy all aspects but most of all; you will end this spectacular event with some lifelong friendships. Don't miss this fun day.
