Single's mini hike on Land's End Trail & Dinner at Beach Chalet 7/26

Hi folks -

Let's get together for an easy-going, beautiful hike in San Francisco and dinner afterwards nearby.

We'll meet up for the hike at the USS San Francisco Memorial in the parking lot of West Fort Miley. It is above the Sutro Bath Ruins parking lot, just north of the corner of Point Lobos Avenue and 48th Avenue.

We will hike along the Land's End Trail that curves around the Lincoln Park Golf Course and Palace of Legion of Honor. Then afterwards, we'll drive down this hill to grab dinner at the Beach Chalet at Ocean Beach on the edge of Golden Gate Park as the sun is setting over the ocean.

For the hike, we will meet between 5:00 - 5:15 pm at the Memorial.

The hike takes about 1 - 1.5 hours at an easy stroll and there are only 1 or two biggish hills, but the views are amazing (if it isn't foggy) so if you haven't done this trail before, you might want to bring your camera for some amazing photos of the Golden Gate Bridge.

If the fog is in that day -- dress warmly because it gets very windy on this trail above the water.

West Fort Miley is just north of Ocean Beach and the Sutro Baths where Great Hwy meets the far west end of Geary Blvd (actually called Point Lobos Avenue for the small section to the east of the Sea Cliff Restaurant.)

We should be at the restaurant by 6:45pm. PLEASE BRING CASH TO PAY FOR DINNER.
