What we’re about
SFVRCC is a Community for Creatives who are interested in the next generation of Virtual, Augmented & Mixed Reality Experiences. We bring together artists, programmers, designers, filmmakers, DIYers, engineers and any others who are interested in brainstorming, demonstrating, collaborating, or just experiencing VR, AR & MR for the purpose of inspiring creativity.
Our focus is entertainment, especially Location Based VR (LBVR — out-of-the-home VR) and immersive narrative (how do you tell stories in VR?).
The group was created by Brian Ferrara in April 2014, and then turned over to David Fox in October 2019.
