Lets get down and dirty caving with Roxann and Barbara at Raccoon Mountain Caverns, Tennessee’s highest rated cave, RV Park and Campground. The closest campground to downtown Chattanooga and Lookout Mt. There will be something for everyone on this trip if caving isn’t for you. http://www.raccoonmountain.com/

We will be caving the Fossil Crawl Expedition: Approximate Tour Time = 2 hours. This is an introductory expedition for those who are interested in caving. You will do some walking, some stoop walking, some crawling (nothing real small or too tight), and see beautiful fossils contained within the rock walls of the cave.

If caving isn’t your thing, then we can visit lookout Mt. or Rock City, the Tennessee Aquarium, find some treasures at the worlds longest yard sale or just hang out by the pool.

The campground (tent only) offers clean bathhouse with private showers, swimming pool, pan for gems, basketball, hiking trails, Ladder ball, arcade game room, go-karts and wireless internet access.

Cost $36 includes a guided cave tour, campsite, and main-course dinner Saturday night and breakfast Sunday morning. Participants will be asked to bring a specific food item to share for dinner.

Camp with us without caving $12.

Check-in is at 12:00 p.m. Caving starts a 1:30 p.m. I will make up a list of participants to email out later so everyone can arrange their own car-pool, so make sure you fill out your registration early.

You need to provide your own tent, sleeping bag & pad/air mattress, drinks and snacks. You do NOT need any cooking equipment. All campers will be required to help in meal preparation and/or clean-up as well as bring one item to share for the dinner meal.

Your registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and are PAID by mailing me a check. The first 18 to PAY are in. RSVP is not enough, if you do NOT pay by the deadline date you will be removed from the list to allow others to register.

COST: $36 per person for cavers and $12 per person for campers, if post-marked by July 19, 2013; then it's $46 for cavers or $22 for campers per person if postmarked after July 20th.

Cancellation: *Note: Cancel on or before July 19, full refund. Cancel after July 19, No refund unless someone replaces you. The trip is limited to the first 18 who send a registration form and payment. RSVP will close July 31st.
