Night Shots at the Palace of Fine Arts

Let's sharpen our Night photography skills at one of the loveliest spots in the City. Come down to the Palace of Fine Arts and take a few shots of this landmark in the city. I will try to be there by 6 pm but will likely arrive before 7. We will do a brief meet and greet at the start and go over some basics for those who are just learning to use their cameras or new to night photography. Afterwards, we can grab a drink or a bite and review the shots taken.

What to bring:
DSLR Camera - required
Tripod - highly recommended
Shutter Release/Remote - recommended
Extra memory cards - recommended
Extra batteries - recommended
Layers of warm clothing and comfortable walking shoes - highly recommended

Parking:
There is public parking and street parking around the park and the theatre. Please be mindful of all signs to avoid pricey parking fines.

Public Transportation:
The Palace of Fine Arts has convenient access to public transportation. The venue is accessible by San Francisco Muni buses #30, #43, #28, and #29. Muni bus lines #22, #41, and #45 also stop in the vicinity. From Fisherman’s Wharf take the #30 Stockton bus. For more information, call Muni at (415) 673-6864 or check the SFMTA trip planner.
If you’re taking BART, get off at the Montgomery Street station, walk one half-block up Market Street to Third Street, and catch the #30 Stockton bus on the corner.
