Announcing the William Harris Homestead shoot:
http://www.meetup.com/SPS-Meetup/calendar/9954414/

When: March 21,[masked]:00 PM

The William Harris Homestead is a completely restored, decorated, and landscaped 1840?s era home site owned and maintained by the Harris Family as a living history of their family and farm life in rural Georgia.
The site includes a two story log house, originally built in 1825, it is completely decorated in period antiques. There are several outbuildings as well (smokehouse, barn, corn crib).

The site is not open to the public except for scheduled school groups. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and has received several awards for its authentic preservation. We will have full access to the site due to special arrangement with the owners.

The Homestead is located on Hwy 11, about 4 miles south of Hwy 316 just past the Barrow/Walton County line on the right. From Hwy 78, it is on Hwy 11, about 2 miles north of Hwy 78 on the left. I will have a ?SPS? sign on the side of the road. Water and bathroom facilities are available.

You can always get in touch with me through the "Contact Organizer" link on Meetup: http://www.meetup.com/SPS-Meetup/suggestion/
