What's Happening at SPS

Good afternoon everyone.

I just wanted to remind you about our photography swap meet later this month. Time to do some spring cleaning on your photographic gear: no longer camera bags, cameras, lenses, accessories, software, computer hardware, etc. I have a cardboard box already overflowing.

Elton Saulsberry and I also have some other equipment that has been donated to the club: light kits, stands, among other things.

If you plan to sell, make sure to Register as a seller so that we can plan accordingly. We might not be able to accommodate you if show up that evening without registering.

Our Treasurer John Razza, has set our club up to receive charitable gifts from Amazon. Since SPS is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are listed as an approved charitable organization where the club would receive 0.5% of your eligible purchases through the Smile.Amazon.Com site.

To shop at AmazonSmile simply go to from the web browser on your computer or mobile device. It is very simple to do and you only need to do this once to have your Amazon purchases generating 0.5% cash donations back to SPS. It will still be linked to all of your prior Amazon account information, Amazon history, Wishlists, Kindle, Prime account, etc. so it is truly just a seamless update to your normal Amazon account, not a new account.

1. Go to:
2.You will see a search box to find a charitable organization.
3. Enter: "Southeastern Photographic Society" and hit the Search key.
4. It will find SPS and you can now select us so that 0.5% of your future Amazon purchase amounts will be donated to SPS. That's it!
The only thing you'll need to do to insure this now happens each time you shop on Amazon is to use the weblink:, instead of your normal weblink. (Just update your existing Amazon links & shortcuts with that new url and you'll be off and running).
