Reminder...... Our Pop-UP Show is Just One Week Away

From: SPS President - Greg C.
Sent on: Tuesday, March 20, 2018 12:26 PM

One week from today is our "Member Pop-up Show" - Plus an opportunity to sell your old equipment and get your camera sensors cleaned.

As a follow-up for our "Canceled December Christmas Meeting", join us for a interactive evening to show off your images, discuss how you came about to create them and what steps you took to process them.

We are asking that you share 6-8 of your images, of any theme/topic/series. We will post them up on the wall and presentation boards, so we can easily roam around in a Gallery Setting to review and discuss members work. It's preferable that you bring non-matted images, so we can easily mount them with double sided tape. Images less than 12x18 are preferable. Most often pop-up shows include images sized as 5x7 thru 10x15 as images are viewed in a intimate setting. This is a great opportunity to share some of your images and benefit from comments from other members of SPS.

Our "SPS Mentors" will be available to answer any questions you may have.

During this evening, we have also invited KEH and Peachtree Camera Repair to join us. KEH will be on hand to purchase any camera bodies, lenses and other items that you no longer need. You can check out their website ( to learn what they buy. They will be writing checks for purchased items on-site during this event.

In addition, Peachtree Camera Repair will be onsite to clean your digital and mirrorless camera sensors and calibrate your lenses. Prices will be $40 for camera bodies and $15 to calibrate your lenses. This is a great time to have these items completed if you have not done so in the last year. Yes they will take Credit cards...

Also if you are participating in the Tucker Library Show this Spring, you can pick up your frame.  Cost will be $15.

We look forward to having you join us for a enjoyable evening.
