SQL Friday #59 - Ameena Lalani on SQL Server Resource Governor

If you are managing a SQL Server where multiple distinct workloads run and compete for SQL Server resources, this session is for you.
There are often situations where critical business application is affected by other applications and there is resource contentions between various applications.
In this session, I am going to go over explaining and setting up different pieces of Resource Governor feature of SQL Server. We will see few demos showing how Resource governor manages resources and removes resource contentions. Resource Governor will let you easily manage multi-tenancy and still able to isolate resources on a single SQL Server instance.
