About the Presenters
Dr Tok Wee Hyong. Wee Hyong is Head of Global AI Labs and part of the AzureCAT team at Microsoft. He has extensive leadership experience heading multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and data scientists, working on cutting-edge AI capabilities that are infused into products and services. Wee Hyong has 15 years of experience in his field and was previously part of the SQL Server team, and was responsible for product management for SQL Server Integration Services (SISS). He was also part of the founding team for Azure Data Factory and oversaw its development into Azure Service in 2015.
Chong Jia Yi. Jia Yi is a GovTech Distinguished Engineer with deep technical expertise in simulation and animation. He was previously Technical Director at Deep Motion Inc, leading the team for the next-generation C++14 AI/Deep Learning-Driven Cloud-based Physics Simulation Toolkit. Jia Yi also worked with Pixar for close to 10 years, where he developed Physics Simulation and Animation Tools used in popular films such as WALL-E, Toy Story 3 and Up. Jia Yi owns four patents and has published numerous technical articles in ACM Siggraph.
