Dawn Wilson will be presenting to the SW photo club about photographing wildlife in the winter. Winter photography presents unique challenges—from staying warm to shooting a white scene to keeping batteries charged. We'll cover lots of hacks for success with your winter photos as well as tips on what to shoot and where during the cold, snowy months.
BIO: Dawn has been taking photographs since she was a child. A move to Colorado in 2002 really inspired her to focus on photographing the beautiful wildlife and scenery of the Rocky Mountains. Dawn especially likes photographing wildlife that loves the cold of high altitudes, including in Alaska. Dawn is currently working on a photo book about the Bears of the Alaska Peninsula and has been published in numerous magazines and calendars, including Nature's Best and Outdoor Photographer.
